After going through the basics of Mechanical, Electrical engineering, and introduction to automation, we will engage 16 contact hours (expecting students will devote at least 4 non-contact hours for each contact hour of the wide spectrum of Mining Machinery will be introduced and expertise to be developed will be identified. There is a great demand for engineering skills

for designing machinery and its components and providing support for maintaining the machines in the mines to enhance their capacity utilization and performance. In this part of the course, we will also introduce machine monitoring, data collection and data uses for machinery management.
